Writing a company review
For talents and shepherdsUpdated 30 Sep 2026
Rate a company, say how you know it and share what it's really like, anonymously if you prefer.
Worked at a company, interviewed there or had a coffee chat with someone inside? A short, honest review helps the next person decide.
Writing your review
- Step 1: Open the company and scroll to its reviews. Press Write a review (or Write the first review if nobody has yet).
- Step 2: Tap a star under Your rating, from 1 (Poor) to 5 (Excellent).
- Step 3: Under How do you know the company, choose I work there now, I used to work there, I interviewed there, I had a KoffeeChat with someone there or I'm researching them.
- Step 4: Write a Headline that sums it up, up to 100 characters.
- Step 5: Add Your review (optional), up to 1,500 characters, on what it's like to work at, interview with or learn from them.
- Step 6: Choose whether to Post anonymously, then press Post review.
Not signed in? Write a review takes you to sign in or create a free account, then straight back to your review.
Posting anonymously
- Post anonymously is on by default. Your review is signed "A talent" or "A shepherd", and your name stays private.
- If you work there now or used to, an anonymous review is signed "A KoffeeChat member", with no talent or shepherd label, so you're harder to single out.
- Switch it off to sign with your first name. The form shows exactly how your review will be signed before you post.
When it appears
New reviews go public in a daily batch within 3 days, so nobody can match a review to a visit. Until then, only you can see it, marked Your review · goes live within 3 days. Reviews are dated by month, never by day.
Keep it honest and fair
- Write about your own experience.
- Leave out names and anything confidential.
- No false claims, harassment or threats, and no reviews in exchange for anything.
- You can't review your own company: accounts on a company's team see a note instead of the button.
