Changing your current role

1. 1Step 1: On your career ladder, press Edit role on the You are here rung.
2. 2Step 2: Under Your current role, start typing and pick a role from the list, or add your own.
3. 3Step 3: Press Save role.
4. 4Step 4: Press Rebuild my career ladder so every rung starts from where you are now, or Later to keep your ladder as it is for now.

Your current role is the same on every ladder you have. Rebuilding updates the ladder you're looking at; your other ladders catch up the next time you open them.

Changing your dream role

1. 1Step 1: On My ladder, press Edit dream role at the top right of the top rung.
2. 2Step 2: Under Your dream role, pick a role or type your own.
3. 3Step 3: Press Save dream role. We rebuild your ladder straight away so every rung leads there. It takes a few seconds.

Changing the step in the middle

1. 1Step 1: On any ladder, press Edit role (the pencil on a phone) on the rung in the middle.
2. 2Step 2: Pick a role or type your own, then press Save step.

We write a new description for that step and leave the other rungs as they are. It's free and takes a few seconds.

Changing a path's role

1. 1Step 1: Open the ladder of one of your paths from the tabs at the top of Career Ladder.
2. 2Step 2: On its top rung, press Edit role (the pencil on a phone).
3. 3Step 3: Pick a role or type your own, then press Change path role. We rebuild the ladder for the new role.

The path keeps its career path slot. The growth plan for the old role stays saved, but it's no longer linked to this path, so the new role starts with a fresh growth plan. We ask before any KoffeePoints are spent. Your career path slots
