Your career path slots

Your career paths, at the top of Explore other paths, holds the paths you're working on. Each one takes a slot, and one slot holds everything for that path: its growth plan and its career ladder.

How many slots you have

• Free

  Career paths: 1 path

• Plus

  Career paths: 3 paths

• Pro

  Career paths: 5 paths

• Shepherds (once approved)

  Career paths: At least 3 paths

The counter next to Your career paths shows how many you're using, and an empty slot shows as + empty slot. Once they're all in use, Add another path (on Free) or Need another slot? shows you your options.

What fills a slot

• Creating a growth plan for a path, or a career ladder for it, whichever comes first. Adding the other one later uses the same slot.
• A growth plan for the role you're in now, from your career ladder. A growth plan for your current role
• The growth plan we build when you finish setting up your profile.

My ladder, from your current role to your dream role, never uses a slot.

Freeing a slot

1. 1Step 1: Under Your career paths, press the ✕ on the path you've finished with.
2. 2Step 2: Under Remove this path?, press Yes, remove.

Its slot frees up straight away. The path's career ladder goes with it, but its growth plan and the tasks you've ticked are kept.

When your slots are full

We check before anything is built or any KoffeePoints are spent. On Free, you'll be offered an upgrade to Plus or Pro for more paths, or you can remove a path to free its slot. On Plus and Pro, and for shepherds, where upgrading adds no more slots, you'll see Remove a path to free a slot instead. You can remove a path right there in the popup, then carry on.
