While your profile is being reviewed

We check every new shepherd profile before it's listed, so talents can trust who they're booking. Here's what that means for you in the meantime.

What waits until you're approved

• Talents can't find or book you yet, and your public booking page isn't live.
• Your Talents list stays closed. It says Talents appear once your profile is live.
• You can't send coffee chat invitations to talents or start conversations in Messages.

What you can do now

• Add your LinkedIn on Your profile (press Add LinkedIn under your name). It's the quickest way to speed up our review.
• Fill in your profile: your photo, banner, the topics you Can help with, your experience and your education.
• Set your weekly availability and add your meeting link, so you're ready for your first request.
• Choose what visitors see on your booking page under What visitors see. The card reminds you that your page goes live once your profile is approved.
• Use Grow to plan your own next steps.

When you're approved

You get a notification in the bell and a banner on your dashboard: Your shepherd profile is approved. From then on talents can find and book you, your booking page is live and the Talents directory opens up. Your profile shows as Verified.

We also email you: Congratulations, you are now a verified Shepherd. It has a button to claim your Pioneer 100 link while places last, and two short guides with animations: adding a role to your experience (for example Computer Engineer at Microsoft) and setting your weekly hours on the Availability tab.
