Following companies, alerts and the weekly digest

See the companies you follow, turn on alerts for the ones you care about most, and get a weekly email when there's news.
Follow the companies you're interested in, then choose which ones you want to hear about. Once a week we email you what's new at them, and only when there's news.
Seeing the companies you follow
- Step 1: Go to Companies. On your phone, press Filters.
- Step 2: Under Following, turn on Only companies I follow. The line under it says how many companies you follow.
- Step 3: The list shows only those companies, and Following appears as a chip above the results. Press the chip, or Clear all, to see every company again.
Following only shows when you're signed in. It works with the other filters, so with Country set to Nigeria you see the companies you follow in Nigeria.
Turning on alerts
- On a company's page or quick view, press the bell beside Following. Press it again to turn alerts off.
- Or press Manage alerts under Following in the filters: it lists every company you follow, each with a bell and Unfollow.
- Alerts are off when you first follow a company, so you only hear about the companies you choose.
- Turning on your first alert also subscribes you to the weekly digest, and we tell you when we do. If you've turned the digest off before, we leave it off and offer to turn it back on.

The weekly digest
- One email on Monday morning, with a section for each company that has news since your last digest, and a link to its page.
- No news, no email: we never send an empty digest.
- It comes from KoffeeChat <hello@koffeechat.com>.
Stopping the digest
- Press unsubscribe from this digest at the bottom of the email, or your email app's own Unsubscribe button. It turns the digest off straight away.
- Talents: switch off Weekly company digest in Settings → Notifications. Shepherds: Settings → Notifications in your account menu.
- Or switch it off at the top of Manage alerts on Companies.
Stopping the digest keeps the companies you follow and their alerts, so you can turn it back on whenever you like. To stop hearing about one company, turn its bell off or unfollow it.
