Join codes, invite links and visibility
For organisationsUpdated 7 Oct 2026
Share a code so people can join your community, and choose whether your organisation is public or private.
Join codes let people join your organisation's community without an email invitation. They're handy for events, universities and mentoring programmes.
Public or private
Under Visibility on Team & Access, choose:
- Public: discoverable, and listed in the company directory.
- Private, invite-only: only people with a join code can see or join your workspace. If you've claimed a company page, that page still shows your employer brand, your open roles and a Follow button.
Your community codes
- The Talent code (it starts with TL-) is for early-career members.
- The Shepherd code (it starts with SH-) is for mentors.
- Share a code with Copy, WhatsApp or Email, or copy the Talent code link.
- Press Regenerate to replace a code. The old one stops working straight away.
People join by opening your link, or by entering the code on KoffeeChat's join page. The join page also takes a whole pasted link, and a friend's personal invite link (from Refer & earn) opens that invite instead of an organisation.
