Changing your name, photo and location

Update the name people see, your profile photo and where you're based.
Where to find itOpen Settings → Profile
Your name
- Step 1: Go to Settings → Profile.
- Step 2: Change your First name and Last name.
- Step 3: Press Save.
This is how we greet you, and the name shepherds see when you book a chat. People always see the name you typed, never your email address. You can also change it with Edit profile on your Profile, along with your headline.
Your photo
- Step 1: Choose Change photo in your account menu, press the camera button on your photo on Profile, or go to Settings → Profile.
- Step 2: Press Upload photo (or Change photo), or drop an image onto it. A JPG or PNG works best, and we crop it to a circle.
- Step 3: To take it down, press Remove.
A clear, friendly headshot helps people recognise you. Until you add one, people see your initials. You can also hide your photo from shepherds browsing talents. Hiding your profile from shepherds
Your location
- Country: choose it in Settings → Profile and press Save. It also sets the currency we show prices in.
- City: added when you accept our Add your location suggestion. Why we suggest your city
There's no field for your city in Settings yet. If yours is wrong, choose Report a problem in your account menu, pick My profile and tell us, and we'll put it right.
