The topics you can pick when you book, and why some shepherds list topics of their own.
In step 2 of a booking, Select main topic asks what the chat is mainly about. It tells the shepherd what to prepare for, and helps you both stay on track.

Shepherds' own topics
Shepherds can pick up to 12 topics they're happy to talk about, including ones of their own, which show as Can help with on their profile. When a shepherd has picked some, the menu shows their topics (and Other) instead of the full list. Shepherds: press Add more under Can help with on Your profile to pick topics or add your own. Choosing well
- Pick the one topic you most want to cover. You can mention others in your questions.
- Match the topic to the shepherd: someone who switched industries is a great person to ask about Switching industries.
