Company review guidelines

For talents and shepherdsUpdated 29 Sep 2026

What makes a good company review, what isn't allowed, and how we moderate.

Company reviews help talents understand what it's really like to work somewhere. The best ones are honest, specific and based on your own experience.

What makes a good review

  • Say how you know the company: you work there, used to, interviewed there, had a coffee chat with someone there, or you're researching it.
  • Describe what you saw yourself: the work, the people, the interview, the culture.
  • Be fair. Mention the good as well as what could be better.

What isn't allowed

  • False, misleading or defamatory claims.
  • Harassment, hate or threats.
  • Confidential or insider information you're not allowed to share.
  • Anyone else's personal information.
  • Reviews of your own company, or reviews written in exchange for anything.

Accounts on a company's own team can't review it.

Anonymous by default

Post anonymously is on by default, and anonymous reviews never show who wrote them. New reviews go live in a daily batch within 3 days, so they can't be matched to when you visited. Until then, only you can see yours.

How we moderate

Our moderators can hide a review that breaks these guidelines or our Terms of Service. If they hide yours, it isn't shown on the company page and you'll see a note saying so. You can still edit it, but you can't delete a hidden review. To report someone else's review, choose Report a problem and pick Safety or abuse or Something else.
