Sharing your CV, growth plan, career ladder or LinkedIn

Step 3 of a booking lets you send some context with your request, so your shepherd can prepare and you spend the chat on advice rather than your backstory. You can include your CV, Growth Plan, Career Ladder and LinkedIn. All of them are optional.

Choosing what to include

• CV: your experience at a glance. The shepherd sees the latest CV you've uploaded.
• Growth Plan: the role you're aiming for and what you're working on.
• Career Ladder: your next steps up, from the role you're in to your dream role, or towards one of your career paths.
• LinkedIn: a link to your full background.

Tick the ones you'd like to include. Your name and photo always go with a request, so the shepherd knows who's asking.

More than one growth plan or career ladder?

• If you have a growth plan for more than one role, ticking Growth Plan asks Which growth plan should your shepherd see? Your most recent one is picked to start with.
• If you have more than one career ladder (My ladder and your career paths' ladders), ticking Career Ladder asks which one. My ladder is picked to start with.
• Your shepherd sees only the one you pick, in the request email and in the app.

Your note

Your note to your shepherd previews the line we add to the request email, for example "Hi Chidi, I have included my CV and LinkedIn to give you some context before our call." It changes as you tick and untick items.

If something's missing

1. 1Step 1: Tick the item anyway. A card explains why it helps, for example This is a great time to upload your CV.
2. 2Step 2: Press the card's button (Upload your CV, Create a growth plan, Create a Career Ladder or Add your LinkedIn). We keep your booking while you add it.
3. 3Step 3: Press Back to your booking with your shepherd's name at the top of the page to come straight back. The item is ticked for you once it exists.

How a shared CV opens

Your CV stays private. Only shepherds you send it to can open it, through a link that expires after a few minutes. If you replace your CV later, they see the new one.
